The problem
Collision repair runs on paperwork and photos — before shots, damage notes, progress photos, the final result — and most of it never made it into one place. The repair order lived on paper. The photos lived on someone's phone. Months later, "what happened to this car" meant asking around the shop.
The approach
We treated the repair order and its photo record as one object, not two separate workflows. Every stage of a job — intake, in-progress, completion — carries its own images, searchable against the order that owns them. Built around how a U.S. collision shop actually moves a car through the floor, not a generic ticketing system repurposed for auto repair.
The solution
A digitized workflow that replaces paper and scattered folders: repair orders tracked from intake through completion, photos captured and stored directly against each order, and a centralized job history so every vehicle's repairs — and the evidence of them — live in one searchable place.
The result
Shop owners and staff get a single source of truth for every car that comes through the door — better accountability, a real record without the paper, and less time hunting for who has the photos from a given job.
